Best Gardens: Fletcher Moss Gardens, Didsbury

In case anyone's wondering where my header photo was taken, it's from Fletcher Moss Gardens in Didsbury, South Manchester. It's in a perfectly secluded spot, tucked behind a few busy pubs, and few folks realise it's there.

I love the naturalistic planting, particularly the pond area in which candelabra primulas and irises thrive. There's also a hefty collection of Rhododendrons. It's a lovely spot to visit on a sunny afternoon and have a picnic.
